So, if you want to have some great laughs remembering the Fockers family meetings and get ready for the new movie, this is the moment, and this is the article to check out.
Let’s see where you can find all the Fockers films on streaming and what you need to watch them all.
The quick version
1. Sign up for ExpressVPN (30-day money-back guarantee)
2. Download the app and connect to a server in the UK, Australia, Canada, or the US
3. Open Paramount+, Stan., or HBO Max and start watching the Fockers movies
The Fockers films are scattered across a handful of platforms, and most of them are locked to specific countries. Here’s every place you can watch them, and what you need to unlock them from wherever you are.
Meet the Parents (2000)
Comedy, Romance. 108 minutes. Available on Binge (Australia), Foxtel Now (Australia), Stan. (Australia), and Paramount+ (Australia, Canada, the UK).
Let’s face it, comedies from the 2000s were unique, and today we are lacking similar films. I remember I ended up seeing Meet the Parents because all the screenings for Cast Away were sold out.
I had a great time with this movie at the cinema, and then the subsequent times I watched it at home. Although it follows all the tropes from this type of comedy, the chemistry between Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro makes this film stand out.
Greg Focker (Stiller) is a male nurse ready to propose to his girlfriend Pam Byrnes (Teri Polo). For Greg, the best occasion comes when they visit Pam’s family for her sister’s wedding.
However, as is often the case, the plan derailed a little. Pam’s dad, Jack Byrnes (De Niro), is an ex-CIA agent and Vietnam War veteran, overprotective of his family. So, when Greg appears, he decides he must test him to see if he is worthy of his daughter’s hand.
Greg’s clumsiness leads to a comedy filled with slapstick gags. Meet the Parents was a huge surprise and a success at the box office. To this day, it’s praised for the performances and the humour, making it one of the iconic comedies of the early 2000s.
Meet the Fockers (2004)
Comedy, Romance. 115 minutes. Available on Binge (Australia), Foxtel Now (Australia), Stan. (Australia), and Paramount+ (Australia, Canada, the UK).
As happens with any successful movie, a sequel was produced four years later. We already met Pam’s parents, and now it was our turn to meet the Fockers.
Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand joined the cast as Greg Focker’s parents, who live on an island in Florida, where they lead a hippie-like life.
The high contrast between the Byrnes and the Fockers is the main source of comical situations. Greg and Pam are preparing for their wedding, which is six months away, so they decided to introduce Pam to Greg’s parents.
Even when the film recycles some jokes from the previous film, overall Meet the Fockers is an enjoyable comedy that reunites strong Hollywood stars. The film was a box-office success, but the critics weren’t so kind.
Little Fockers (2010)
Comedy, Romance. 98 minutes. Available on Stan. (Australia), Paramount+ (Australia, Canada, the UK), Sky (the UK), Channel 4 Plus (the UK), and HBO Max (the US).
Following the natural course of life, this third film sees Greg and Pam happily married, raising their 5-year-old twins. Jack is getting older, and he’s seeking the next family patriarch. So, after Pam’s sister’s divorce, his only choice is Greg Focker.
With both pairs of parents visiting the Fockers because of the twins’ birthday, some hilarious situations are assured. All the cast from the previous films appear in this new instalment, with the addition of Jessica Alba, Laura Dern, and Harvey Keitel.
This sequel was the least successful of the three and the worst rated by the critics and the audience.
Focker in Law (2026)
Comedy. Release date: 25th November 2026 in cinemas.
At the end of 2024, it was announced that a new film in the Fockers series was in production. In 2025, it was confirmed that Ariana Grande joined the cast for one of the main roles.
Greg and Pam’s twins are young adults, and the boy, Henry, has a girlfriend, Olivia (Grande). Henry is sure she’s the right one, and he’s ready to propose to her.
As a future member of the Byrnes-Focker family, Olivia must undergo tests to gain the approval of Grandpa Jack and Dad Greg. Skyler Gisondo plays Henry, while Beanie Feldstein plays his twin sister Samantha.
The incorporation of Ariana Grande into the cast is clearly a wise move by Universal Pictures and Paramount Pictures to attract a new young audience to the film.
Judging by the trailer, the chemistry between De Niro, Stiller, and Grande is assured, now it rests for release. Regarding the streaming release, it will surely be around March 2027 on platforms to be announced.
Why Aren’t the Fockers Movies Available Everywhere?
As is often the case with streaming, many films are subject to licensing agreements that impose geographic restrictions.
The Meet the Parents films were produced by Universal/Dreamworks, and distributed by Paramount Pictures in markets outside the US.
For this reason, the films aren’t available for streaming in the US. Many old Dreamworks movies tend to have this common issue.
Also, Paramount doesn’t have the distribution rights for all regions.
If you are located outside the countries where these movies are available for streaming, you need a VPN to access the platforms.
With a VPN, you can avoid the geographical restrictions and access the streaming services from your home as if you were in the allowed country.
However, there is an extra point to keep in mind. Depending on the country and service you end up choosing, you’ll need to do something else, and we’ll cover those details below. Now, let’s focus on the VPN itself.
What Is a VPN?
A VPN is a useful tool to keep your internet activity secure by connecting through a server located in another country.
By doing this, your IP address gets concealed by the IP address of the server, making all your online activity somewhat-anonymous and secure.
But this process comes with a perk: you can also use a VPN to unblock streaming services affected by geo-restrictions.
In this case, you can use it to access the streaming platforms where the Fockers films are available.
Which VPN Is the Best?
When choosing a VPN, whether for security or entertainment, consider a set of crucial features.
Look for fast connection speeds, a wide range of servers in many countries, an app compatible with all devices and operating systems, and a guarantee to keep your money safe in case you encounter any issues with the service.
Believe me, even when these features sound like common sense, they’re hard to find on the first VPN you get in a quick search on the internet.
For this reason, I recommend the number one VPN on the market: ExpressVPN. It’s the VPN I’ve been using for more than six years, and it meets all the requirements for both online security and streaming.
With ExpressVPN, you get the fastest connection speeds, you have plenty of servers to choose from around the world, the app is user-friendly and available for all devices, and it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee in case you have an issue with the service.
There are two other options that I used in the past as well that you can give a try: NordVPN and Surfshark.
These two VPN services overall offer similar features to ExpressVPN. Although my top recommendation is ExpressVPN, I understand that personal budget has an influence on the final decision.

From $2.49/mo
How to Configure a VPN Step by Step
Once you have chosen your VPN, it’s time to get everything set up. Even though configuring a VPN is a super-easy task, here’s a little guide to help you. Although we’ll focus on ExpressVPN, these instructions work seamlessly across any service.
Sign up for ExpressVPN
Go to the ExpressVPN website and pick the plan that fits your budget. If you can, go for the annual package, where you’ll get a big discount and some up to 4 months free.
Download the app
Get the app from the ExpressVPN website or your regular app store. Remember to download it from official sites to keep your devices and information safe.
Install and log in
Install the app on your device and log in with the credentials you created in step one.
Connect to a server
Depending on the service you’re after, search for a server in the UK, Canada, or Australia. You’ll usually get a list of cities, pick one and press connect.
Open the platform and start streaming
Head to your chosen streaming platform and start watching. With a VPN, you’ve got access to a whole new world of entertainment without being tied to your own country.
Get ExpressVPN and start watching the Fockers movies
30-day money-back guarantee. No risk.
How to Access Paramount+
When you try to access Paramount+ from a different country, you need to create a dedicated account for that country.
For example, I’ve got a Paramount+ account in Argentina, but I can’t use it to access Paramount+ in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, or any other country.
For this reason, to access Paramount+ Australia, I turned on my VPN connected to an Australian server, and I created a new account. For payment, you have the option to choose either a credit card or PayPal. I use a global card that allows payments anywhere Mastercard is accepted.
Sometimes, Paramount+ offers free trials for 7 days, but this may differ from one country to another.
How to Access Stan.
Stan. is one of the best streaming platforms in the world, period. But it’s only available in Australia.
The good news is that with a VPN, you can easily access it. If you need to create an account, you can do it without issues, you only need to provide an Australian postal code that you can find with a quick search on the internet.
They accept credit cards and PayPal as payment methods. Remember that if you use a card, it must be a global one.
How to Access Binge
Binge can only be accessed by Australian citizens. If you’re an Aussie and need to travel abroad, you can use a VPN to access the service.
However, if you’re a foreigner, you can’t create an account, because Binge asks for an Australian phone number for security reasons.

Did You Know? The Original 1992 Meet the Parents Film
There is a Meet the Parents movie from 1992, with the same characters but a darker twist.
Meet the Parents is an independent production by Greg Glienna and Mary Ruth Clarke. Glienna also directed the film and played the main character, Greg. When I say it has a darker twist, I’m not joking.
Instead of slapstick humour as in the 2000 version, this film relies on black humour. The film had a very limited release in independent theatres and film festivals in the US and the UK.
In 1995, Universal bought the rights to the film from Glienna and Clarke and asked them to write a new version aimed at a mainstream audience.
However, they were dumped from the project and lost control over their creation, not receiving a single penny from the very lucrative remake and sequels. Universal has forbidden Glienna from releasing the Meet the Parents film on any physical or streaming media.
According to Glienna, “I don’t know why, but they just will not let me show it,” he told LWL. “I just wish I had a lawyer who knew what he was doing at the time and would have made that clear to me.”
“My lawyer back then didn’t separate the film and the script in the contract, so the wording of it means when they bought the script, they bought the film.” Glienna sometimes uploads the movie himself. If black comedy is your thing, it’s worth searching for it.
