Thankfully there is a way to bypass this block using a simple tool known as a VPN.
A VPN allows you to alter your online location and appear as if you’re in another country. In essence you can virtually reside in another location. When you try to access BBC iPlayer it firstly checks your internet connection to see where you’re located and if you’re not in the UK then it blocks you as seen in the image above.

Watching on a PC or Mac is easier so I’ll show you a simple step-by-step allowing you to watch Sherlock The Abominable Bride anywhere in the world.
