In this guide I’ll be showing you the quick and easy method to watch MasterChef Australia anywhere in the world.

MasterChef Australia is one of the most successful incarnations of the competitive cooking game show based on the original British MasterChef.

It’s one of the most popular shows in Australia with 12 consecutive seasons, and the latest season is about to start.

Its popularity had spawned four spin-off series in the past: Celebrity MasterChef Australia, Junior MasterChef Australia, MasterChef Australia All-Stars, and MasterChef Australia: The Professionals.

These spin-offs were aired until 2014 when the showrunners decided to focus only on the main series.

If you love reality shows based on competitive games, and cooking is one of your passions, then you don’t want to miss this show.

But there’s a problem: since it’s aired in Australia, if you’re overseas, you won’t be able to watch it.

But, let me tell you that I can give you the solution in this guide.

MasterChef Australia is aired online on TenPlay. It’s Network Ten’s online streaming service.

If you try to watch any of their shows while you’re outside Australia, you won’t be able to do it.

Why?

Because of the geo-restriction most of the streaming services have.

So, in order to watch MasterChef Australia from another country, you need to subscribe to a VPN service such as ExpressVPN to unblock it.

Hi, I tried using NordVPN but it still doesn’t work (not loading). Is there any particular server that I must use?

    • Chris says:

      Hi Ray,

Just checked using a Windows laptop with Google Chrome and connected to NordVPN – Australia server #599. Worked fine. Can you try a different web-browser or incognito or inprivate mode?

I think 10play.com.au has gone smarter and can detect whether it’s a VPN connection. I used PrivateVPN and was able to log into my sign-in account, but was unable to watch any of the shows. The message was “If you are living in Australia, please disable your VPN … ” Can your VPN gain access? Just curious. Thanks.

    • Chris says:

      Hi Joseph,

Yes, you’re right, some services did used to work that became blocked in recent months. NordVPN still works fine, have just retested to check.
