Chris, a UK-born media connoisseur, is an expert in watching international TV. Known as "The Global Screen Wanderer", he has travelled extensively across the globe with long stints away from home. With over 10 years of experience he has become the go-to guru for streaming content from home and abroad.

Eurosport Player, it’s one of the best streaming platforms out there.

… but it’s not available outside Europe.

In this guide I’ll be showing you the quick and easy way you can watch outside Europe, but more on that later.

When you’re travelling outside Europe or if you live outside Europe and you try to view Eurosport Player you’ll find yourself blocked.

Geo-restrictions.

They’re like colossal internet borders that stop you from accessing certain content outside of its intended region.

They’re the bane of my life and if you’re trying to access Eurosport Player, then you’ll dislike them too.

You’ve probably already tried to access or sign up for Eurosport Player only to be told it’s not available in your region – but it doesn’t need to be like this.

How to watch Eurosport Player outside Europe

Eurosport Player knows your location because of your internet connection. Every internet connection broadcasts its location.

So when you access the Eurosport Player app or you visit the website it’s as if you’re shouting “UNITED STATES” or “AUSTRALIA” or wherever else you happen to be.

The Eurosport Player service replies with a slap in the face telling you it’s not available.

The answer to this?

A ‘VPN‘.

A VPN is a privacy tool, they’re completely legal and they help you hide your location.

It’s this location disguise that lets you appear as if you’re in Europe.

The result?

Eurosport Player is unblocked and you’re watching anywhere in the world. High-fives all round incoming from your friends for being a tech-genius!

Where to get a VPN

Hundreds of companies offer VPN services.

… yes, HUNDREDS!

If you dare, type ‘VPN’ into Google and get ready for a dizzying amount of choice.

I tested a whole range of these services and with the time my testing will save you, you can spend more time watching Cycling, Rally, Motorcross, Formula E or whatever other sport is your poison.

ExpressVPN is my number 1 choice because not only do they allow you to stream in higher quality but they are also the easiest to use.

A few others that work are IPVanish and NordVPN and while ExpressVPN was my preferred service, you are free to choose any of the three.

ExpressVPN is giving 49% off if you choose their 12-month package.

With the money you’ll save you could buy tickets to your favourite sporting event and go watch live!

Are VPN services legal?

It’s a good question and one you should definitely be asking.

… VPNs seem like magic, right?

Thankfully VPN services are 100% legal in 99% of countries across the world.

It’s only in those remote authoritarian countries where they want to block the use of VPN services.

After all, a VPN is nothing more than a privacy tool and one feature is the ability to change your location.

You’re also not limited to JUST watching Eurosport Player.

You can use the same service to unblock other regions of Netflix, watch premium sports for free, avoid sport black outs and a whole lot more.

Where can I watch Eurosport Player?

Using a VPN allows you to watch anywhere.

Yes… anywhere.

So that means you can watch Eurosport Player outside Europe in North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australasia.

You can even watch in Antarctica if you’re lucky enough to get an internet connection there.

So wherever you find yourself in the world, you don’t need to be blocked by pesky geo-restrictions.

You can stream your favourite sports on Eurosport Player in any location.

Summary

If you want to watch Eurosport Player outside Europe, then the answer is to get a VPN.

There are hundreds of VPN services out there but I recommend using ExpressVPN.

They’re as easy to use as switching on your TV and they’ve got a 30-day money back guarantee so you’re free to get your money back if it doesn’t work.

You can choose any of the three services mentioned earlier in this guide as they’re all suitable so select the one that you like the sound of the most.

Then using their app connect to the United Kingdom or any other country in Europe and enjoy streaming Eurosport Player overseas.

Working fine, just double checked using ExpressVPN (our recommended VPN) and watched live coverage of Grand Prix | E1 Coverage from Kazakhstan.

If you can’t work NordVPN correctly, they have a 30-day money back guarantee so get yourself a refund.

How does one actually pay for Eurosport Player from outside of Europe? All these articles say “oh just connect to your VPN and away you go” but I’ve tried to access Eurosport from the US several times over the past few years and it always requires a European payment method.
