What’s Divergent all about?
Set in a futuristic world, Tris Prior tries to navigate a society that is split into five competing factions. As each public member enters adulthood, they must select a faction to commit their lives to, which is a pretty massive choice for someone who’s only just reached adulthood.
After much consideration, Tris chooses to join Dauntless, a group that holds bravery above all else. But, a significant problem occurs when Tris discovers she is a “Divergent” and will never truly fit into one faction.
Due to Tris’ new findings, she’s forced to hide her Divergent status to protect herself. Meanwhile, she discovers a looming war that could have dire effects on those she loves.
