The Boss is an Argentinean web dark comedy series produced by Star+, the Latin American streaming service by Disney.
This has proved to be one of the most successful Star+ original fictions since the launching of the platform.
So, since The Boss it’s a Disney production, it’s fair to ask if it can also be found on Disney+?
Don’t worry, here I am to answer all of your questions!
Is The Boss on Disney+?
Yes, The Boss is on Disney+ in the countries where the Star hub is available such as Canada, Australia, the UK, and the rest of Europe, Japan, and Singapore.
But if you live in the US or any country in Latin America, you won’t find it on Disney+.
However, if you already have a Disney+ account and you don’t want to pay for any extra streaming platform, you still can watch The Boss with a little bit of help.
What do you need to watch The Boss on Disney+?
If you live in the US or Latin America, or any other country where Disney+ is not available yet, you’ll need an app called VPN to access The Boss on the streaming platform.
What is a VPN?
A VPN is a security app and service with the objective of protecting your online activity.
With a VPN, you connect to the Internet through another computer, a server, located in another country. So, your IP address is hidden by the one belonging to the server, and everything you do online remains mostly anonymous.
This is also very convenient to access streaming services around the world, like Disney+, whose libraries change from region to region.
For example, if you live in the US, you can connect to a server in the UK and watch The Boss and anything else available on the British Disney+ service.
Where to find a VPN?
A quick search on google will show you thousands of results regarding VPN services.
Sadly, only a few are worth your time and money. First, you need a VPN that works properly with Disney+, and also you need it to have fast connection speeds, plus offer a wide range of apps for different devices.
So, the options are reduced even more.
We have three options to recommend:
- ExpressVPN (Our number one recommendation)
- NordVPN
- Surfshark
ExpressVPN is the best service you’ll find out there. It has all the needed features to enjoy streaming without issues.
Fast connection speeds, a lot of servers around the world, apps for every device, and a 30-day money back guarantee.
NordVPN and Surfshark are great alternatives to ExpressVPN. They also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Although ExpressVPN is our number one option, you’re free to choose!

What’s The Boss about?
The Boss turns around to Eliseo, who is the superintendent of an upscale building in Buenos Aires.
Eliseo shows as a kind, responsible, and an obedient man who always cares for everybody. But his generosity is only a facade that hides a narcissist and manipulative monster that only thinks of himself, taking advantage of everyone around him and pulling the strings for his own sake.
When Matias Zambrano, a lawyer who lives in the building, proposes to build a swimming pool on the terrace of the building, Eliseo’s job is in danger.
The project includes demolishing Eliseo’s apartment on the terrace, firing him, and contracting a cleaning service company to replace him.
Now Eliseo must make use of all his manipulative weapons to convince the rest of the inhabitants of the building that Zambrano’s project is trash. In the meantime, we’ll learn that Eliseo is not the only monster.
With irony, sarcasm, dark humour, and a little bit of suspense, The Boss becomes a little portrayal of the current human society, and one of the finest fiction from Argentina.
