Attack on Titan’s final season started airing in Japan this past December 7th and will keep a weekly broadcasting schedule.

Anime streaming services such as Crunchyroll and Funimation are simulcasting the season with Japan, just an hour after.

But, what happens if you don’t want to pay for another streaming service, and you already have a Netflix account?

Let me tell you, you’re lucky because, in certain Asian countries, Netflix is streaming each episode weekly.

Keep reading this guide to find out how you can access these Netflix regions and enjoy Attack on Titan final season almost at the same time as in Japan!

Where is Attack on Titan available on Netflix?

Attack on Titan is available across several countries such as the US, Canada, Spain, the UK, and so on. In most cases only season 1 is available, in others, season 2 and part of season 3 can be found.

However, in Netflix Japan and Singapore, besides all the previous seasons be available, each episode of the final season is streaming just 4 days after the original broadcasting. Also, the episodes come with English subtitles.

The thing is you can’t access Netflix Japan or Singapore unless you use a VPN to unblock the regional restrictions. But, keep reading…

What is a VPN and how does it work?

A VPN is a virtual private network that protects your privacy online by allowing you to connect to the internet through a server located in another country. By doing this, your online activity remains anonymous and protected from several menaces.

This also has a side benefit like allowing you to unblock streaming services such as Netflix and access to other countries libraries.

You see, each Netflix region has it’s own selection of content and it just so happens your account details let you log into that region if you travel there.

A VPN allows you to ‘virtually’ travel there.

A VPN is a totally legal service, and we strongly recommend the paid ones. Free VPNs are dangerous for your devices because they can infect them with spyware and malware, besides their quality regarding speed is bad.

What is the best VPN to choose?

Choosing a VPN suitable for your needs can be a difficult task. The market is full of options claiming to be the best ones.

Luckily, we have done the work for you. We recommend ExpressVPN, which is the best overall. Fast connection speeds, great streaming quality, user-friendly interface, and a 30-day money-back guarantee in case you don’t like the service.

ExpressVPN works fine unblocking Netflix Japan, which is one of the regions streaming the Attack on Titan final season, but it doesn’t work unblocking Netflix Singapore.

Surfshark, a newcomer to the VPN market, successfully unblocks Netflix Japan and Singapore. In general terms, it has very good connections speeds, and it’s cheaper.

Why do I’m emphasising Netflix Singapore?

They have all the seasons of Attack on Titan with English subs, while Japan is only offering the final one with subs and the previous ones are only with Japanese subs.
