If you’ve ever tried to watch Gazzetta.it outside Italy to catch up with either some live sport or other show then you’ll soon find out like I did that you’re blocked from viewing.
While you can easily access the website itself when you go to watch something you’ll be blocked.
I did some research to see if it was possible to avoid this block because I wanted to watch a live football match which wasn’t shown in the country I was in at the time.
In this guide I’m going to show you the easy way in which you watch Gazzetta.it from anywhere in the world to watch sport or any other show available on the website.
How to watch Gazzetta.it outside Italy
When you try to watch something on the Gazzetta website outside Italy especially live sport like Italian football rather than being able to view you’re blocked with a message similar to the one below.
An example of a block message you may see.
The reason you’re blocked from viewing is because of something called your IP Address.
An IP Address is a unique set of numbers that tells the internet where to send the bits of data when you visit a website. Unfortunately one of the negatives of an IP Address is it also tells websites your location.
Gazzetta.it is restricted for viewing from within Italy for most shows especially live sport which is why you end up being blocked.
The great news is you can change your IP Address to one from another country and in the case of Gazzetta one from Italy.
To do this you’ll need a service called a VPN that you can download for your desktop or mobile device and easily alter your IP Address to one from Italy.
Don’t panic because although they sound technical they’re extremely easy to use. Below I’m going to show you where you can get a VPN service and how to use it to watch Gazzetta.it outside Italy.
