Chris, a UK-born media connoisseur, is an expert in watching international TV. Known as "The Global Screen Wanderer", he has travelled extensively across the globe with long stints away from home. With over 10 years of experience he has become the go-to guru for streaming content from home and abroad.

In this guide I’ll be showing you the super easy way you can watch Filipino or Pinoy TV in the USA.

If you’re a Philippines expat living in the USA one of the things you’ll miss about the Philippines is TV. While there are a couple of new cable services that support “Pinoy” TV they’re often expensive and have limited coverage.

There is, however, a way you can directly access Philippines TV over the internet direct to you in the USA.

For this you’ll need an app called a ‘VPN’. There are hundreds of providers of VPN apps but my recommendation is ExpressVPN.

Below I’m going to show you where to get a VPN to watch Filipino TV in the USA and how simple it is to use.

First Step: Get a VPN service

To watch Philippines TV in the USA you’ll need to subscribe to a VPN service. There are absolutely hundreds of them available from companies across the world.

It’s essential that you get one which supports the Philippines because without it won’t help you watching TV. It’s also important to choose one that’s fast because you’ll be beaming TV all the way from the Philippines to you in the USA.

I recommend you sign up for ExpressVPN. They cost just a couple of dollars per month if you take their 12-month package and it’s nearly 50% cheaper than paying monthly.

You don’t need to worry though because they’ve got a huge 30-day money back guarantee. It’s really easy to use so it’s unlikely you can’t get it working but you’ve got peace of mind just in case you can’t.

If you want to shop around then check out the following three providers who will all be suitable for watching Filipino TV in the USA.

You can basically watch any Philippines TV service that offers online streaming on their website or via an app.

Some to try include:

  • FOX Sports Asia

You can watch either directly on their websites or if you have the app installed of your favourite TV network then you can watch directly via that while connected to the VPN service.

The three VPN services above support Android & Apple iOS and Windows and Mac.

This will allow you to watch on your computer, laptop, phone or tablet.

  1. My wife, a Filioino, likes to record shows to play later. Is this possible?

    • Chris says:

      Unfortunately not with this solution.

You may need to find a streaming service that allows you to plays shows on “catch up” for this.
