Athletics World Championships 2017
The Athletics World Championship is taking place in London, England.
The event starts on August 4th, 2017 and finishes on August 13th, 2017.

London is well placed to host this year’s event after hosting the Olympics in 2012. The majority of events will take place at Olympic Stadium in Stratford, London.
There are no less than 22 different events this year including Running, Sprinting, High Jump, Pole Volt, Shot Put, Hammer Throw, Javelin & Decathlon amongst others.
A total of 28 different countries from across the world are taking part along with 47 Authorized Neutral Athletes.
This will be the 16th edition of the Athletics World Championships which is held every 2 years and will be the very last time both long distance runner Mo Farah and sprinter Usain Bolt take part in the event.
